Recently my good friend Kellyn Wolff emerged victorious at Omegathon.  For some context, you may remember him from this post about his greatness. Omegathon is a contest at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle.  It’s essentially an all around gaming contest, in the past including anything from recent video games to dice to old PC games to skee ball. The final round this time consisted of a claw machine.

The whole round is broken into several videos.  I’m including the one where he officially clenches the win.  In fact, he basically walks all over the guy.

I’m obviously excited for my friend, but what I love the most about the whole thing is that his win doesn’t surprise me.  I know Kellyn’s been into video games and stuff since I’ve known him, but all sorts of other assorted cool and fun things too.  He’s the sort of guy who can take any cool or unusual activity that involves a bit of a knack and just adapt to it.  My point is, when I heard he’d won a nice chunk of change and a trip to Japan for dominating in assorted video game contests, then winning the most stuffed animals out of a claw machine, I thought it all made perfect sense.  It’s what The Wolff was meant to do, and this is my tribute to him.

TO THE WOLFF!
