This week’s theme: Explosive Choruses

This is the debut episode of Six Songs with Jerry and a Guest.  The premise is this:  Jerik is the host. (Although due to a clerical error he is “Jerry” in this format)  Each week he’s joined by a guest.  They each pick 3 songs that fall into a previously decided upon theme.  They then listen to and discuss the songs.  Ideally hilarity ensues. 

This week we picked songs that had a chorus that grabs you and says “Come with me on this exciting journey, my friend.”  The explosive chorus that has you thinking “Goddamn, what’s this song?” 

Other discussion highlights include:  Discussing the exploits of famed producer and murderer Phil Spector, accidentally improperly naming the show, Sean’s aging woes, and finally we tackle the question: What are the names of the Pearl Jam guys?

This is our first episode, so let’s just pretend that it can’t get much worse than this.
